Intermediate

The Intermediate Class (Weeks 9-16) focuses on stretching out the distance from 10-12 miles to 16-18 miles. By this phase of training, the legs should be developing increased strength, endurance is being developed, the routine and discipline of running should be intact, and motivation – although always a challenge – is being maintained.

At the culmination of this class, runners should be able to run at least 16 continuous miles, and will have completed a competitive half marathon. Click on the link below to view the training schedule.
